I have an ambient EP ready for release early 2015 but here’s a one off track in the meantime.
This is definitely a style I’d like to develop further and refine.
I only really discovered electronic music a couple of years ago and synthesizers are not something I grew up with so the learning curve has been quite steep for me.
I’m pleased with this piece because it sounds pretty much like it did in my head. I didn’t have to go with flow because I didn’t know how to get the sound I really wanted. I have managed to produce something that I would want to hear myself with qualities I look for in other artists.
This is progress I feel.
It’s all made in Ableton Live 8 apart from a couple of free synth plug ins that I’m growing quite fond of.
